Dry Brushing 101

                                                               Dry Brushing 101 :

I am going to do a 30-day dry brush challenge! I have been dry brushing for a while but have only done it on and off~ I want to commit 5-10 min. each day to brushing for 30 full days to see the maximum benefits!

I just purchased a new brush from Sephora, specifically for dry brushing. I had a different brush before that had a long handle, but for me I don't personally like the handle it makes it hard to maneuver the brush. This small hand held one I love!! (under $20 @ Sephora )

Per the back of the box, you will get smooth skin by using for 5 min. each day! (before showering) The box recommend brushing in the AM, but who has time for that, I need my sleep!

Benefits of Dry Brushing include: bright beautiful exfoliated skin, (unclogging pores), helps diminish the look of cellulite (gets rid of toxins)  and helps aid in better skin product absorption. (your product works better)



How to Begin:

*Get naked!
*Start with your ankles and work your way up.
*Apply the brush in a gentle circular motion.
*Shower when finished to rinse away all the dead skin cells.
*Follow with a great natural moisturizer.


 ( My personal preference is Coconut Oil or if I am in a hurry I use a spray on type oil )

The best time for me to do this is in the evening as then I have the benefit of putting comfy Pj's on and letting the oils soak in all night for maximum benefits!
